It happened a few days ago too, but was caught almost immediately. We're thinking the filesystem is getting full, but it'll take some investigation.

That cartoon is eerily reminiscent of an incident from my childhood. I was at a babysitter's house and another kid she was keeping and I tested flushing her panty hose, LOTs of toilet paper, and finally stopped up the toilet on about the third or fourth washcloth. I couldn't have been more than three or four at the most. She's probably dead by now, but if not, a huge retroactive "Sorry!" shoutout to Mrs. Mayland!
