Title: DMG is all wrong!!

Hello my fellow Titan fans just wanted to let everyone know, especially those who make MIDS, that the dmg they have for Energy Transfer is about 125 points off.

Normally a Tank in PVE will do about 367 points of dmg, but Mids has it listed at about 214 lol I mean get serious. I know u folks understand my point.

Also the Defense numbers are off by 10% accross the board. If Mids says I am supposed to have 45% def in whatever catagory in game, it is actually 35%. That is for all Toons all Makes.

This is my first time posting on this forum so I hope I am in the right place.

No, the numbers in Mids' are quite accurate.

I logged in my level 50 Invulnerability/Energy Melee Tanker and exported his build to Mids via Sentinel.

According to Mids, my base damage for Energy Transfer should be 136.8 Smashing and 263 Energy - 399.8 total.

According to the detailed info I get when I hover over Energy Transfer in my Enhancement Management screen in the game, my base damage is 136.78 Smashing and 263.04 Energy - 399.82 total.

I honestly can't fathom what numbers you were actually comparing against.  If I look at the numbers with PvP mode on in Mids, the damage actually goes up, so you couldn't have possibly been comparing in-game PvE with Mids' PvP numbers.

Similarly, comparing the numbers for Tough Hide in Mids to the numbers I get in-game, I see 5.77% in-game compared to 5.77% in Mids.

Invincibility may show a slightly different number in Mids' than in-game due to the base number of the defensive bonus for the first mob vs. the additional mobs.  I see 7.83% Def base with 1.57% per target in range in-game.  In Mids I only get a flat 1.57% per target.  But your complaint is that Mids is reporting numbers that are too high, and this is the opposite of the effect these numbers would actually have.

The game is counting the self damage in its average per-cast calculation, which is incorrect.

The power deals 69.40 Smashing damage and 133.46 Energy damage for a total of 202.86 to the target, and on top of that deals 166.83 "special" damage to self.

Mids shows 202.87, which is likely due to a rounding issue, but is still the same (and correct) number.

Well I was hoping someone would clear this all up so thanks guys :O) ohh one last thing what about the difference in the defense numbers in game vs Mids? I see that we lose about a 10% difference over all. Please note that the build in game was exactly the same as it was in mids power for power set for set. This also includes accolades and no incarnates were used. so if my Melee def was 35% in game in mids it was about 45% Peace. ;D

There could be a variety of reasons: were you in a PvP zone (Mids doesn't support PvP diminishing returns)? Did your Mids setting have suppression enabled? Is this the same build as above?

Best way to do testing: post your mids export chunk, and if you can, a screenshot of your combat attributes from in game.
