Sorry about the lateness of this. Been working like crazy lately and had some scheduling hurdles.
We're going a bit different this year.
The Meet and Greet will be happening on FRIDAY, August 18th.
The event will start at 6:30 PM.
We will not be doing a singular venue as we have in the past.
Per request, we are going to hit the food truck area just outside the main hall on Georgia Street (See circled area below.)

The event will run until we break up (whenever that is).
But, for a time, we'll have, as our guest, Victoria Victrix (aka Mercedes Lackey) and her husband Gryph (aka Larry Dixon). Due to scheduling constraints, VV and Gryph will not make it.
They've been invited back again this year as part of GenCon 50's general theme of connecting with it's own past.
So, to summarize, this Meet and Greet will be earlier, and looser than has generally happened in the past. (Hell, we'll try anything once!)

Blatant plug: I'm running a home-brew RPG that uses Paragon City as the setting Thursday at 1pm and 8 pm for CoH folks. I'm full up on players, but would love to have as many people come by to check it out that want to. The game (Heroes of the City) uses Dungeon World as a framework.

Unfortunately, Larry and I won't be able to make this. We have an event on both Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 PM. One night it is a panel, the other night we will both be onstage as part of the The Gamers: Live show. Can't tell you what our parts will be as it is supposed to be a surprise.
As it's GC's 50th I'll come on out and see who's who.
Back when I was playing I ventured out to my my Supergroup whom mainly lived in Memphis, TN, so coming on out to a Meet and Greet would make my year!

If we do it outside like that again, I'm going to make a banner for it, so people can find us easier. Of course, once Statesman showed up as you can see people had no trouble finding us!
That and so many people came by to remark on it and the nostalgia they felt at seeing him. Todogut, that costume is amazing, and from many people's reactions CoH is still remembered by many.
