With David Bowie's passing, I thought this would be appropriate to share. Peter Gabriel's cover of Heroes with a different arrangement (orchestra).
RIP Ziggy Stardust, Thin White Duke, Goblin King, Boz (or however else you remembered him... he never appeared on The Venture Bros. but The Sovereign is my favorite recent persona.)

David Bowie and Pierre Boulez in the same week. It is a very sad week in our household.
So, anybody have any Bowie-inspired heroes?
I had a villain named Aladin-Insane. (Yes, I know it was spelled wrong...)
And another band-inspired hero, named Magic Gus. (Guess which band... ;D)
I had one called 'the Babe with the Power' if that counts.
If anyone wants to do something really heroic in honor of Bowie they should try to somehow put a stop to whatever horrendous tribute to him the Grammies are no doubt planning as we speak.

This is my tribute to Bowie. I'm getting it just below the back of my left knee, where Bowie had his own tattoo.
The star to commemorate his final album, Blackstar, and the Aladdin Sane lightning bolt that I have always, since I was tiny, associated with him. I am contemplating putting "I'll be free" or "ain't that just like me" around it, which is from Lazarus, the video that shows Ziggy retreating from the world (back into the closet) while Bowie is dying in bed. (crying crying can't stop crying)
I had a Brute named Gene Djinnie.
Darnit.... That really make me wish I could go build Blue Genie. :(
