So 2 days ago suddenly I cannot log-in to paragon Chat
Tequila Launches
Paragon chat updates and launches CoH
Can log-in with username password if I use ENTER and not the buttons
Get the screen called 'User agreements' and the buttons for REJECT BACK ACCEPT are not active
Mouse-over does not activate them, clicking does not and ENTER does not
Cannot log-in. Last logged in 3days ago no issues. Not installed anything i know about it since
HELP?
Tequilla shouldn't be updating anything, nothing's changed in ages... What happens if you just launch Paragon Chat itself, without Tequilla?
its not updating anything. It's just scanning for updates I guess
Just launching paragon chat does not nothing to improve the issue
What OS are you using?
What steps have you taken to attempt to troubleshoot it?
Have you checked in the FAQ thread for the many different instructions in there to fix various issues?

I have checked the boards and I cannot see anything that helps me
I am using Windows 10.
Here's the thing. I could log in 4days ago. Now this. I have not installed anything new on this computer since i last successfully logged in. I have cold-booted, I have run virus scans. Nothing has changed since I last logged in that I know about.
Unless I abandon all cries for help, remove all the Paragon software and start again...kinda wanted to avoid that
Modify the Paragon Chat shortcut on your desktop and add -debug to the command line, then post what you get up on here.
You could also try adding -localhost to force it to use 127.0.0.1 as it's listen port. Could be that something is blocking 127.0.0.2, so check your firewall settings also.

I spoke to Codewalker.
pressing ALT+Enter to switch COH to windowed mode - this worked!
It turned out to be the fullscreen DPI bug, which occasionally affects Windows 8 (and I guess 10). Since it's fairly rare it's probably graphics driver specific. The symptoms are that either part of the screen is cut off, or the mouse cursor position doesn't match up to what is being shown on the screen, which makes clicking on things rather difficult.
The only known workaround is to run the game in windowed mode, where it works fine. There are probably some system settings that can be tweaked to avoid it but I've never encountered it personally.

Glad you got it working!
I always forget about that bug, because I've only ever run CoH in windows. I dual screen, so all games are run windowed... :p
To be honest, I should have thought of that having worked in IT for 10yrs...DUH! and maybe I have played windowed b4 and not realised. I recall that i have a other apps open a lot so that may be the case and why I did not notice.
Thanks Codewalker & Floating dude x
