Title: Trouble with Secret Question and Answer
Post by: Floride on July 04, 2015, 04:52:01 PM
In my Account Settings, my Secret Question was blank and there was a word in my Secret Answer. I entered a Secret Question and changed the word in the Secret Answer. Now the Secret Question shows up fine, but the Secret Answer keeps reverting to that initial word that was there and won't change.
Is it just me?

Can you show me what URL you are working at? The Secret Question and Answer feature was removed, so you shouldn't be seeing that anywhere.

I get there by hovering over "Profile" and pulling down to "Account Settings. Just wanted to clarify it's not an old bookmark or anything. I also tried deleting cohtitan cookies to see if that was the problem.

It's not a problem. That field isn't used. Sekoia removed the secret question as a step in recovering your account, in favor of issuing temporary, one use password resets.

Ah! I see what you're talking about. Agge's right, that isn't used for anything. I'll make a note to remove that from the page soon so it isn't confusing in the future.

Groovy. I'm just glad it wasn't the evil gremlins living in this old Abit mobo  8)
