And Star Trek fans lose another. Grace Lee Whitney, who played Yeoman Janice Rand in eight episodes of classic Trek, died on May 3rd of natural causes at the age of 85. Rand was one of my earliest crushes.

Yeah, we should all be so lucky as to be gone that soon. But "gone too soon" does seem appropriate in her case. She had the prettiest eyes, *sigh*
