What is a Rangle Plot? I see it referenced sometimes, and I feel like it's an inside joke. But I must understand!

I remember that it had something to do with user Rangle M. Down (http://www.cohtitan.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=17010), but I never knew what the originating story was on the official forums.

Sorry to necro, but I usually lurk quietly in the background, and just now saw this.

Yes, Rangle Plots™ originated on the live CoH forums as part of the Blame The Person Above You thread.  Rangle used to play a lot of tanks and became a regular on Tanker Tuesdays along with Warboss and others.  Warboss began to use the Blame thread to tease Rangle about things that happened on TT, accusing him of nefarious plotting.  Rangle would of course vehemently deny he had any involvement in any TT shenanigans by saying, "There are no such things as Rangle Plots™"

The Rangle Plots™ became a kind of meme within the TT group, which then spread to the entire Justice Server (and apparently beyond).

When the Sunset was announced, a group of crazy Justice folks *cough cough* put together a SuperGroup called Rangle Plots.... without telling Rangle.  All the member names were some kind of pun or variation of "Rangle".  We took about 3 weeks to level up our toons... being careful to stay hidden, and a couple weeks before the actual sunset, we surprised Rangle with the whole group gathered in Kings Row.  We formed up a Rangle League and went off on a Pally hunt followed by a Ship Raid.  Rangle puns flew thickly across the Justice channels that night.   ;D
