Arguably the best musical Medieval comedy show I've seen this year. 8-)
And we'll have to see if Galavant gets another season for the story to end.
Hate it when they do that.
Really really really hate it when they do that. If the network knows it might not renew the show then they need to neatly tie up the season. We don't need cliffhangers to bring us back to a good series.
I never cared for it, and the blatantly pandering tongue-in-cheek ending did not endear it any more to me.
Sadly many network execs are shining on to the "limited series event" model. Order eight to twelve episodes of a show with a fixed script... if it hits, renew it, if it flops (as Galavant did) then they can claim that was the plan all along rather than admitting it was a bad bet.
Watched (or tried) the first episode and part of the second. Hated it. I didn't find it funny at all. And it doesn't help that I despise musicals.
Saw the first episode was mildly amused, was planning on watching the rest of it, but kept forgetting it was on. So I guess, while I did find it amusing, I didn't find it /that/ amusing
I personally loved it. Reminded me of Men in Tights.
