Also, I'll have to get a level 4 so as to fly to the top of Atlas.
^After all that I plan to taking as long as possible to get to lvl 50. I want to explore ALL the available missions. I'll turn off xp until I completed ever possible mission set at that level before I move on.
Neither of the above things... I'll be working on getting my 50's... working on prestige for my base..working on getting influence etc....
Kinda figure I'll remake a couple concept characters I had way back when that I never finished leveling up, like my Water/Kin Corrupter and my Crabstermind. Or I'll end up remaking everything....(most likely, really.) Either way, I will likely smash a few characters up to 50 rather fast, then work my way through as much content as I can. And probably try to get my juggernaut of bane spider remade for making inf for my account.

The first thing I'll do is to build a host of dummy characters to try and snag all the names
that I care about again (just in case).
Then I'll do a happy dance....actually I'll probably be doing the happy dance from the moment
we hear "the deal is approved" onwards.
As far as leveling goes, I'll probably take Xander Blaze up to 50 asap [as a Fire/Kinetic Controller,
he levels amazingly fast anyway]. Then for everyone else, including my "signature" toons, I'll take
my own sweet time leveling them up.
I like Power-Gamer's idea, except for shutting off XP. There's always the flashback system for missed content.
After dancing and flying, I will take a toon to 50 on each server.
That way I'm all set.
Then I'll make the usual altistis collection of stuff.
I will probably be so panic stricken that I will not be able to play....
If the unthinkable happens, I'll build the one toon I wish I had built from the beginning and build her to 50. Then I'm going hami raiding.

Latest plan for me is to go directly into altitus mode. Make a DP/NA defender and then a Dark/NA controller. Then play each to about 26ish and see which is going be my main. Small possibility of adding like a Demon/NA MM to see how he feels.
I will also make a TA/Sonic deftroller.
By then I will be ready to take a break. :)

According to CoH wiki MMs did have Nature Affinity..... I could remake my toon in honor of my Best Friend as Beast/NA then. :) I did Beast/trap cause he was an Animal/Nature lover but traps never felt right. Since he could never bring himself to harm an animal.
As for myself, I think I'll got with zombie/NA that could be interesting....

Hit 10 as soon as possible. By that time, my friend will have made a great AE mission to get my toon to 50 easily within 3 hours.
Make a WIDOW afterwards and really start to have fun.
Finally, after both toons are 50, start INCARNATE TRIALS
I go back and forth. Sometimes I want to recreate my favorite characters, with the names which fit so well and the same powersets (maybe a different Primary or Secondary here or there, maybe a few different power choices, maybe different slot assignment and different Sets to be slotted) to go with the character concepts.
At other times, I feel like that would be treading old ground. Sure, I'd gravitate to powersets that I really enjoyed, but mix 'em up with new ones I haven't really tried yet or that I think might work well together. Come up with new character concepts and looks to keep it fresh for me. Maybe I'd keep (some of) my old names; maybe I'd come up with completely new ones. Most likely I'd do some of both.
I do know that I wouldn't want to recreate the exact same character(s), changing nothing. I believe that'd get boring fairly quickly. Whenever we get to take to the skies again, I'll be looking for the fun first, instead of obstinately clinging to things that brought me fun in another game. Because, as someone mentioned earlier (paraphrased), bringing back City of Heroes Issue 23 will still not be the same game as it was before. Our community as a whole took a huge blow 2 years ago, and that's going to affect the way we play, in large and small ways, and the way we interact. Stretching the point a bit, you can get back together with your ex, but even if they're the same, you're now a different person than you were then.

1. Buy a new gaming rig with a sweet monitor.

3. Sewer run and Task Forces to 50 was always my favorite - I always felt the game is more fun with bigger teams.

5. Special Events - I know its not likely but it sure would be sweet if I was rescuing baby new year in December... Could they even do special events with an image of the game? idk how that stuff works.
As far as we know at this point, they should be able to turn existing events on and off as that's
just some system/admin commands.
No new events of course, and we're not even 100% certain of the existing events, but that's been
the current thinking I've seen bandied back and forth.
After having all this time to deliberate what-if and if-when :P , I've decided it would be best for me to make all new characters with powerset combinations I've never used before, and even use a new method to come up with character names. A fresh start all around.
In the old days, I usually solo until after I've gotten DOs or equivalent IOs for the Posi TF, but I expect that I won't have the Inf to afford full upgrades at the new beginning. So I might just team right from the start to get the level boost and to have team mates cover me while I suck. Thus, accumulating Inf and Prestige will be an early primary goal.

Then get my planned toons made. Level one to minimum SG registration level. Invite all my toons. Start running content and earning prestige to bring the base back, with beacons and salvage storage running.

My financial situation will, very likely, prevent my putting any money into the game for a long time. So, any attempt that I make, at figuring out what I'll do when CoH returns, keeps stalling out at the same roadblocks: it depends on how many free character slot I'll have on a server, and how much of what I had available to me before (veteran/unlocked/bought) is available for free.
