LOL! Apparently there were people who did not pay attention to the spelling and they thought she had died. There was an article on the news that said "contrary to fears, Betty White is alive and well."
That's ok, I glanced at the subject line and read it as "Barry White Dyes"...
So many people have trouble with spelling these days, especially on the Internet, that I just assumed that some inept individual had meant to say that she'd died.
