I know this probably isn't the kind of thing that should be openly talked about (for fear of getting a cease and desist), but I was wondering if anyone knew if there's been any progress on reverse-engineering the server-side part of the game. I could be mistaken, but I thought I read some time back that there was a small team working on that. If possible, I'd like to help.
It's always moving forward, and there will pretty much never be any public information about it until it's ready for release.
There is good news and bad news.
The Good News: There are people on this board who know the answer to your questions!
The Bad News: They will never tell you what those answers are.
So
if 20% of people are aware of this
and 40% of them are concerned that they haven't heard anything for some time
and 60% of people are longing for a good outcome
and 80% are wishing well towards anyone working on anything related to the game
and 90% are desperately hoping to play the game
What, I wonder, might knowledgeable people feel dominates this world's cosmic knowlege,
Awareness, Concern, Longing, Well Wishing, or Desperate Hope?
I was told there'd be no maths..?

It's subject to Fight Club rules.
Rule 1 is of course...
Don't talk about the Fight Club.

Let's see: 90% of 80% of 60% of 40% of 20% is 3.456%. Doesn't sound like there's much interest in that effort at all, to me. ;)
Desperate Hope. That's all that's left. Though I got to tell you guys. had one of those deja vu type dreams last night. when I get those, they often come true in about 2 to 5 years later though mostly in 2 year time span.
I was on one of my mice running around spawning champion level enemies in a zone that looked a lot like Founders. Incredible details.

You seem to have missed the subject change on the third line -- you fail the quiz :)
(but what I really care about is the extra credit) -- Thank you LadyVamp

I would dearly love to know that the answer is "Desperate hope" in this context

Desperate Hope. I remember her. Her super power was the ability to ask and get turned down by everyone in the same room at the same time, right?

Actually, I think the super power was the ability to ask
again after being turned down.

And that's the only way to do it after everything we saw with Tabula Raza. Generally, if you are not a programmer working on the reverse engineering or one of the folks lucky enough to have impressed them enough while the game was live, there is no info until it's ready to be unveiled. Our most realistic hope are the New Efforts or one of the spiritual successors. Other than those, let's button our lips in public.

As we mice say, "No Surrender!" We will have a city. I just feel it. It's dream that will become reality. You just got to believe and never give up.
No Surrender!

And one day I might learn the basics like how to drink out of a tea glass and how to click modify instead of quote.

It's better than when I first got AWESOME COSMIC POWER here on the forums and repeatedly modified OTHER PEOPLE'S posts instead of quoting them because for SOME STUPID REASON the modify button is right next to the quote button. Most of the time I was able to back-page enough times to revert the post to its original state. We lost a really long good post from Sekoia once, though. ;-;
-_-;;
