  • This year I'll get real candy when I go trick or treating
  • For the first time in years I actually have more money than influence
  • Stolen purse thefts have decreased 80 billion percent
  • I no longer interfere with police business using a scanner
  • Frisbees now hit me in the head occasionally

  • It's become clear to me that I do NOT run like a ninja. No matter how much I go "Whoosh! Whoosh!" when I try.
  • I've realized that just saying the words "Emote drink!" does not refill my drink.
  • I am now 100% certain that I can walk much faster than I can hover.
  • I can finally stop waiting for people on the street to say that someone should make an action figure of me.
  • I have grudgingly admitted that the kitchen table is NOT a portable work bench, and those bits of junk I found are NOT going to become a jetpack, regardless of how much duct tape I use.
  • I've stopped suspecting that every person who wears a fedora is really working for the mafia.  (... But I'm still sure some are...  >.>  )
  • I no longer think that jumping down the nearest sewer grate will make me stronger and more experienced.
  • I've stopped ordering things off Ebay and trying to pay for them with "the gratitude of the people I've saved".    ... Cause Ebay sellers don't accept that.     ... And they weren't too keen that I tried, either.
  • I've stopped believing that a huge flash of light is going to burst out of me on my next birthday.
  • And finally, I no longer believe that if I'm performing poorly at a task, there are 42 other versions of me that I could try using instead.

  • I now realize that when people are crowded around a scantily clad woman, it's just a celebrity and she cannot grant me the ability to fly to the top of the nearest building. (other than pharmaceutically)
  • Accepting alignment missions only work for bankers and politicians when changing sides
  • The sky outside my window is not broken... it really does take twenty four hours to cycle, and I should stop submitting bug reports
  • Train stations that drop me off in dangerous parts of town in the middle of the night are not going to earn me a new costume from the scantily clad woman on the corner... maybe herpes, but not a new costume
  • The gas station charging $1.89 for lipton pure leaf tea is NOT a Nemesis plot.

I'd say you guys not suspecting things as nemesis plots is actually a bad thing. You're gonna let him get the upper hand.

  • I've finally quit climbing to the top of public buildings and ranting about the lack of an exploration marker.
  • The Fitness Pool is not inherent here. We're expected to perform these bizarre rituals called exercises if we want health and stamina.
  • Local officials no longer have to worry about me showing up at a burning building, beating the onlookers senseless, then demanding an extinguisher so I can get promoted to Chief.
  • I quit failing my driver's test while trying to guess what kind of achievements would unlock the Master badge.

With city of heroes shutting down, in accordance to the ultra rich belief that the poor should suffer as much as possible untill they are no longer poor while at the same time everything should be designed to keep the poor, poor, I am certainly suffering as much as possible just for being poor :/.

The boredom must be great for me according to their logic.

Edit, added a few good things:I'm forced to play other games, ironicly the one I enjoy most is minecraft which I find to actually be fun, and another that was fun to me(Champions online() but gets boring quickly for me other then roleplaying.  Thats a good thing, yay.

I am more disillusioned about reality, guess that's a good thing to.  Oh, eh not really.  But hey, being a "realist" is fun.  You get to justify sarcasm with it, I love sarcasm.

Currently; Not doing any streaming, found myself with less time available recently.  Still playing starbound periodically, though I am thinking of trying other games.  Don't tell me to play mmohtg's though please :).  Getting back into participating in VO and the successors again to.

    • When I take my party members trick or treating (henceforth to be referred to as nieces and nephews, not party members) Witches, Sorceresses, Vampires, Werewolves and Zombies that I encounter will NOT try to kill me or them, and I should leave my titanium wrist claws at home and just use the foam ones that came with the Wolverine costume.

    I've accepted that...

    • no matter how long I hang around the police station, they will not give me a 15 use nightstick.
    • Standing around near statues in colorful clothes will not prompt strangers to give me money.
    • My jumping height is capped at about 6 inches.
    • Sewers are filled with all sorts of unpleasant things, but Circle of thorns isn't one of them
    • I cannot hold 50 items of various shapes sizes and weights in my pockets

    A few more...

    * In any given building with an elevator I can go straight to the top floor and no longer feel the urge to go up one floor then leave the elevator to find the NEXT elevator to take me to the next higher floor.

    * I am more careful now about getting my clothing wet as I now realize that jumping in lakes, ponds, fountains or sewers will result in my getting wet and STAYING wet rather than drying/de-odorizing the moment I step out of it.

    * I am out of shape.  I have no cardiovascular endurance whatsoever.  Getting a tattoo reading "Stamina:" with three blue disks after it does not change this fact.

    * Azuria had nothing to do with my keys going missing.

    * The fact that my Doctor's first name is Delilah is a coincidence.  It is good that I realized this PRIOR to the restraining order... .... ..... this time.

    * Just because I CAN leap onto the roof/hood of a moving car and not just slide off does not mean I SHOULD.

    * When my friends and I are waiting outside a restaurant or movie theater for the last member of our group to finally show up... I no longer dance emote to pass the time.

The following is neither a good list nor a bad one... It is however, confusing, as I was SURE these things were actually Nemesis Plots.  However, since he no longer has access to this world, I am forced to admit there must be another... perhaps more sinister... reason for these phenomenon.

    * Justin Bieber
    * Anything named Kardashian (or, as I call it, LardAssIan)
    * The Republican Presidential Candidate Strategy
    * Twerking
    * Reality Show Programming
    * "Eh, the moon is far enough" attitude that got NASA shut down
    * Disney getting Geek-Cred
    * Super Heroes left my computer only to end up in every movie theater in the country

Last year on December 1st, I suddenly lost my ability to soar through the sky.
Last year on December 1st, teleporting 300 yards from my current location in an instant became impossible.
Last year on December 1st, I no longer could leap tall buildings in a single bound.
Last year on December 1st, my dreams of someday being a total, complete, 100% Incarnate were crushed.
Oh, wait...I think I've missed the point of this post.  These are all BAD THINGS.  I guess I'm just not there yet...but I'll admit that I've smiled through my tears at reading some of these wonderful memories  :'(

Since City of Heroes shut down, Good things are:
    • I've stopped hanging out around the Asian market waiting for clanks to show up
    • Tattooing green bar across my chest does not mean I can blow off Obama care because I have full health
    • I no longer believe everything is a Nemesis plot. (Because I now know everything is an NSA plot)
    • When I go to Campus and see someone playing frisbee golf, I am not confused when the disks don't automatically come to me
    • Snowballs are not a limited use item. I can just pick up more... so long as I avoid the yellow ones.
    • Jetpacks ARE a limited use item, and someone else seems to have used up all my minutes
    • Opening strange packages sitting on the street is a task best left to the bomb squad
    • I realize people are tired of me saying "NCSoft should die of Gonorrhea and burn in hell" when they mention Wildstar

This is where I have to mention that I do, in fact, have both the Saint Martial Jackpot music and the Imperial City Logos music on my iPod playlist...  ;D

    - When I tell friends all about the manic misadventures of my "bird things" these days, the stories are about Mac and Mo (my budgies), not my collection of winged City toons.

    - Any interesting-sounding names I come up with get used for tabletop RPG characters instead of getting instantly swiped by yet-another-City-alt.

    - I never have to worry about the current versions of Palrah, Kestrel and Cardinal getting nerfed. (They're resin ball-jointed dolls. XD)

    - I also never have to worry about losing them to an unexpected shut-down... and they have a lot more costume options!

    - I can once again see layer cake as a GOOD thing

    • I no longer believe everything is a Nemesis plot. (Because I now know everything is an NSA plot)

... is it just me, or do "NSA" and "Nemesis" have an eerie phonetic similarity?

    To add to the list:
I don't have to think twice to remember that blimps actually do exist and carry people rather than being painted into the sky to make the background more interesting.
I don't worry about winter lords showing up whenever I'm around snow.
I have rediscovered the phenomenon known as "sunshine".
I realize that, even though I've turned 20, it is generally not socially acceptable to wear a cape in public.
I no longer assume that guys wearing long red pants and sleeveless jackets are going to set me on fire (although this may not always be a safe assumption).
I now realize that if I want to "level up" in college, I have to gain experience via "studying" rather than trying to beat up my classmates (and, on the more serious side, I now have extra time to study, also).
