"Amaranth" by Nightwish
"Swamped" by Lacuna Coil
Nightwish AND Lacuna Coil? Awesome!
"Blue Christmas" - The King, Elvis PresleyMy favorite holiday song is the Porky Pig version of "Blue Christmas". :)
Spin Doctors - Cleopatra's CatThat's the one with the scatting in the verses, right? My fave was always "Big Fat Funky Booty ".
"The Wall" - Pink Floyd, on the Pink Floyd station in Pandora. It's a trippy station I made... love it.excellent song. I like Pink Floyd music
That's the one with the scatting in the verses, right? My fave was always "Big Fat Funky Booty ".
That's the one, yep. And another good one of theirs, nice choice :)Saw them before they hit in a very small club. Fun times. They threw everyone cassette singles (anyone remember those?) of Little Miss Can't Be Wrong with Booty on the B-side.
See, now I'm jealous. (Of seeing them live, not having cassettes. I've had enough of those to last a lifetime ;D ) I live in the boonies so catching a good band is pretty rare.Funny. I saw them in Arkansas. Friend of mine actually jammed with them in Boston. Of course he is a producer in LA now...:/
Today's song goes out to everyone who ever sat at the real cool kids' table. You know who you are. 8)
The Guild - I'm the One That's Cool
Acoustical Highway - Craig ChaquicoWhoa...I have that CD... :o

"I woke up this morning, with a start, when I fell out of beeeedddd..." (That ain't no crime!)
It certainly is a good thing none of us here are showing our age what with the various songs that come floating down memory lane; e.g., a really MODERN song from just yester-year popped into my brain seeing this thread title and so I knew I was gonna add this song from the very most recent Days of Future Past (obligatory Moody Blues reference), yes, I mean none other than "I Melt With You" by Modern English. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MO4OP3-lXf0 Now as far as I am concerned, songs from this era (mid 1990s) are almost on the Edge of Time (ref: to Hawkwind), and yes, I am certain there are people who will point out to me that it's 2013 already, and thus ask what I am doing Living In the Past?Unfortunately for us all "I Melt With You" was on the 1982 album After the Snow...:)
Have a beautiful day, Titans!! :)
Unfortunately for us all "I Melt With You" was on the 1982 album After the Snow...:)1982..... um, right. Thanks for that gentle correction. Just wishful thinking on my part that placed "I Melt With You" to a decade or more after its release. :-[ (embarrassed but I'll get over it.)
"Becoming X" - Sneaker Pimps
The classic rock radio station I am listening to is playing The Immigrant Song.I LOVE that song (and always have!) Here in Minnesota it often feels like The Land of the Ice and Snow...... As the joke goes, we have two seasons in Minnesota: Winter and Road Repair, and if Summer falls on a weekend, we have a picnic! :D
Because my brain is what it is, and I saw the thread title of "Silly Forum Games", I now have "Silly Love Songs" by Paul McCartney and Wings in my head, only modified:
"You think that people would have had enough of silly for'm games... I look around me and I seeeee it isn't so... "
Note: some say my taste in music (like books) is "eclectic" but I prefer the terms full-bodied, full-figured, or even statuesque. ;)
I love my brain, but sometimes, it's just really left of center... o.0
I'm the One That's Cool - The GuildI love that song!!! Especially the video done by the Guild!!! I should also note for the record that I owe my appreciation for Felicia Day and the Guild to Dark_Respite a.k.a. Samuraiko for her version of "Do You Wanna Date My Avatar" since I figuratively "came to the table late" since becoming a "silver surfer." (Man, retirement and age, really do have their advantages.)
Weird Al was a guest judge on Cupcake Wars today. That is surreal...
Cause I'm a Blonde (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rNfZxgkH7k)...from Earthgirls are EasyThat is an awesome song (& movie), Healix! I love your taste! As to the songs I have been listening to today (for real) on youtube have include songs of actual loons (as Dave Barry would say, I am NOT making this up!), e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPkCnMso5rE and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3G9b6j3nCA and I followed those up this morning with this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i24uukKwcIQ Anugama - Chakra-Journey- (Shamanic Dream) Ambient Meditative Trance but lest that fool people into thinking I'm all whatever, I had to listen to this blast from the past (sent by my decade older spirit brother) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBH1qi-i6zA "You Don't Own Me" by Leslie Gore (1963). However, now that I have recounted each and every song I've listened to on YouTube today (I am deliberately omitting "Ave Maria" that I heard earlier today in an in-person, unplugged, not online environment), this final song and what I am Listen to the very moment of my post this I
Hence without further build-up, won't you all please enjoy (if you do) Weird Al's rendition of his own "Perform This Way" music video tribute honoring Lady Gaga's musical and couture originality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss_BmTGv43M
I won't go huntin with you Jake (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6Uq5VHGuPA) - Jimmy Dean (My grandpa's favorite song...LOL)LMAO!!!! Great song and I'd never heard it before! Thanks!!! That was awesome!!!!
Triplash, while I didn't look up the song, I believe that if I had a soggy bottom, I too might be a man of constant sorrow.
Oh, you sure would be a man of constant sorrow. You'd see trouble all your days.Thou art AWESOME, Triplash!!!! Thanks for the link, since I had totally forgotten this song, the band's name but NOT that incredible movie!!!! It's true, tho, Nobody Knows The Trouble I've (We've) Seen! (I happen to like this version by Louis Armstrong.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHFveRxXfM4 )
You'd even bid farewell to old Kentucky, the place where you were born and raised.
The place where youuuuuuu were born and raised.

The Recluse's Web by OminousVoice (OMG the pang of grief over the end of CoH was unbearable today..so I decided to be more active on Titan >.>)Re: being more active on Titan: Good! 8) Re: pangs of grief, we are all there with you in spirit! I spoke with one of my CoH buddies by phone last night who like me is disabled and he was glad that neither of us is letting our friendship drop just because we can't log in, and while his Mac won't play DDO (where some of our SG mates went), my gaming anhedonia is such that I just don't enjoy any computer games at all any more. (Thanks, NCSoft! You've given me a lot more free time for non-MMO activities, as well as saving me my monthly subscription fee.) Anyway, ReplicatorFifth, Titan Network is definitely the place to cheer up!!! We have games, silliness, commiseration sessions, constructive fan-action, and probably soon virtual Costume Competitions from the clever kewl kids who know how to import images and get their costume creator, demorecord etc to sit up and do tricks. Me, I am low tech, but I marvel and appreciate so much what fans here offer and share with one another in humor and goodwill as well as the incredible technical accomplishments. (Okay, maybe I am not qualified to use the word "incredible" but from where I sit at my keyboard, it might as well be magic what these I.T.-savvy wizards of all ages can do.)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Original Game Soundtrack by Jeremy Soule.O.O And it's @Heroette for the WIN!!!!! I am now literally listening to the sounds of silence--no, not the song as so famously performed by Simon & Garfunkel, but I am just reading and not listening to music atm. (I know, how pathetically boring!) :P
Pretty Epic.

Nothin' like Dubstep.
And exceptin' this, I really don't care for it... so go figure. :p
This:I've been delving into some dub lately. I've found Bassnectar (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i9MG_PdrR4) to be some of the most palatable. He reminds me of Crystal Method (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7CYzc1naaw) in the way their songs sound like performances even though they are almost entirely electronic dance(ish) music. Dub is like '80's metal today. A way for the kids to let off some of that angst in a completely different way than is popular (although dub is sneaking into pop a lot lately).

Phil Collins and N'Sync - Trashin' the Camp (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvNxhh_xa0g) (from the Tarzan Soundtrack)
That one never fails to hit the Quirky Awesomeness Button :D
But Youtube Judy's Milk, and you'll see what I was playing.I totally know what you mean. Madison Avenue et al have a crazy notion of what sells 100% of the time--even when it don't. I'm all for Freedom and Liberty but every once in a while I like living in a world not informed by Beavis & Butthead sensibilities, though they have their place too.
/The song is innocent. It's totally about milk, like in a store, but people gotta put stuff in the video so kids and the easily offended can't watch it. Grr.
Didn't notice Trip's song under the pic. Reminded me that Tarzan was my son's first go-to-the-movies-movie. The soundtrack was so damn loud he cried and we had to leave.I've not seen this Tarzan movie yet, but I imagine it is as fun and joyous as Disney's Hercules. Yeah, the movie houses often crank the audio so loud that for the past several years I often bring a pair of earplugs and will use them during the very loudest scenes--and ironically almost never miss a line of dialogue--and can enjoy ear-splitting explosions at the muted level. ;)
Pentatonix and Lindsey Stirling's cover of "Radioactive" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aE2GCa-_nyU)Thanks, Rust!!! That Electric Daisy Violin definitely cheered me up a LOT!!!! Awesome!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxIOUJ7by6U is what I am listening to now! (Highly recommended.) 8)
Infinitely better then the official release and actually makes me want to make a Fallout Tribute Video set to this song.
And of course, the song that never ceases to put a smile on my face...
Electric Daisy Violin by Lindsey Stirling (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxIOUJ7by6U)
Iron Maiden duet on harps (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPb20fK0R94)Thanks the URL, Floride; I have a friend who'll love this! Also, I guess this is as good a thread as any to say, my fellow Titan comrades, that it seems very likely I am going to need to be taking a break from Titan Network forums because, well, I now have more on my plate than is comfortable and, well, I gotta take care of business and personal matters and all that.
Keep the AWESOME alive and going! I'll be back when I can as soon as I can but realistically this Real LifeTM may be chewing seriously into my play time on Titan for somewhere between weeks and months. /em holdtorch

Y'know, some days you just gotta go with the classics: Hocus Pocus by Focus (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGaVUApDVuY)
That right there is some of the funkiest, awesomest, weirdest badassery I've ever laid ears on, I swear.
Yodel Rock. It's an untapped gold mine.
Just watched it again for the hundreth time. Never gets old. The song is funny as hell and I've never even played WoW.
The Ballad of the Noob (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eM2rFZGujhk)

Right now I'm listening to the Super Mario World theme... acapella style (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndiD8V7zpAs). I can't stop listening to it, in fact; I think I broke the freaking replay button. It is so dang catchy.
That was a classic! I love it ;D

I gotta tell ya... Fox was an idiot to cancel this. :(
I never even bother to watch any show on Fox anymore, no matter how good it might be. If I like it - or if anyone with TASTE likes it - they WILL cancel it. No point getting invested really.
Theme to Firefly, as I'm doing a daily watch, gettin' them all in.Welcome to the Browncoats! Always room for one more. ;)
I've seen Serenity, and and know enough to make me dangerous, but I finally am actually watching them.
Damn, I just saw Jaynestown, and I gotta tell ya... Fox was an idiot to cancel this. :(
Ring of Pain (http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Ring_of_Pain) not only hurts the baddies....I found it out the hard way on one of my own toons!
