First off, I'm very new to all this, so hi, sorry if I'm beating a dead horse, etc.
I'd like to see the ability to hide and float the power selection lists; adjust button and column sizes, set fonts, etcetera. Maybe even skins, sometime down the line?
And of course, cross-platform would be nice.
An aside, how is the UI handled?

Mids' will eventually be deprecated (a replacement builder is in the design phase) and as such, big overhauls to the UI and stuff are likely to not happen.
-
Oooo, that is an exciting bit of news. :O
I eagerly await!
... though now I feel a little silly for getting Mids' in the first place, towards the end of its life... Oh well!
-
You'll have months worth of Mids' left yet. The new builder is only in the DESIGN stage at this point. :)
-
Just curious.
What will be the name of the new builder? :o
-
I think it's "experimental project of awesome" at the moment.
-
It actually has an internal working name that's being used in the source code namespace, but I know that the instant I mention what it is the name will stick and we'll never get people to call it anything else. (-:

(That's why I threw out a red herring. :))

I am all kinds of curious about what you guys have in store for a new planner! But I can also respect not wanting to talk about it while it's still a baby. :3

Yeah, the currently existing scaling system and the options that are in the configuration settings (which are fairly robust in terms of colors and font sizes, but not much else) are pretty much all you're going to get for Mids'...

*readies dustbuster*
Hopefully this doesn't mess with someone's allergies, but I didn't think it needed a new thread.
Even with the i24 Mids, the UI is still designed around a 720p style monitor and can be really hard to see even on a 1080p screen. Any chance we can get an upgrade now that the community has new life? Personally, I'd like it to work like say a standard window where it scales according to the dimensions of the window.
