So, I wanted to say some good words to all three groups of Plan Z developers.
yeah I know I'm a bit of a critic, but here goes,
My commendations go out to you, I'm quite intrigued to see so much progress on your game engines in so little time. I suppose lots of man power helps.
further more I would like to apologise for the half assed crap of models I served out to you when requested for some... I don't know why but I just had no drive or motivation when I made those models.
anyways, I suppose theres a thing or two to be learned here about the value of a placeholder. aka using all sorts of premade stuff to fast-track your game to success.
yeah, I prefer the old method of actually making my own models and programming from scratch, but that puts me behind the curve.
heck, I'll be honest I just realized I don't know the first thing about how to program a client/server interaction, at least not in python which is the type of programming I typically use.
anyways, I'll end with another commendation; I've seen what others have done for a quick MMO... some of which made me shudder and wonder how in the heck they can get anyone to seriously play it.. I'll admit you don't seem to be anywhere nearly as poorly designed as them, infact I'd go as far as to say your designs aren't poor.
lastly, you've caught my eye with your progress, you've got the back of my mind wondering if you'll lease out your finished engine for others to use to develop Different MMOs with similar game play. (naturally you'd get the credit for the engine)
A project I'd like to do someday, though not now I don't think, would be to create a propper 3D onepiece MMO with a CoHey engine. same with bleach but hey.. thats just personal taste.
oh well keep up the good work.
